Navy Enginemen and Parkinsons

I had heard that working with diesel fuel could be the cause of parkinsons.  My husband was an Engineman in the Navy and worked on the diesel engines.  He also trained on fuel injectors and had his hands in diesel fuel all day.  Does anyone know about this and how I would do the research.

The Dept of Defense has a program that specifically targets military personnel and Parkinson's. The acronyms are NETRP (neurotoxin treatment research program) and NETPR (neurotoxin exposure treatment Parkinson's research) - both are the same program, just changed the name.
