Progression of Parkinson’s

Hi guys. First post. So my father is 6 years with Parkinson’s. He’s 78.
Per doc he’s in stage 4 of 7.
Last night he started having hallucinations.
Just found out he’s had a series of mini strokes.
He is dropping weight.
Is “the end” soon?
I pray that he is taken soon. 😢

Hello Fire362, I am sorry to read about what is happening your with your father. I urge you to contact his dr immediately & discuss this. Call today, there could be something else going on not related to the disease. His specialist is your best source to ask all questions.

I think your best bet is to talk to the medical staff. I didn't see any specific Parkinson's issues other than the hallucinations. That is a common concern with people with Parkinson's. It's usually medication-related. Has he had any changes in his PD meds - Amantadine, in particular? Otherwise I don't see any PD concerns.

Again, I suggest you talk to the medical staff and ask them about expectations.
