Hi Aloha, whatever the time difference you can always get to me via this thread or by direct email - just click on my name. The Neupro patches have been licenced in the UK since April/May '06 and I have been using them since October '06 as I tried to stay off meds for as long as possible after dx [Jan '06 but knew for over a year what I had]. Generally they are holding the line although my tremor isn't controlled very much but there is a psychological aspepct to my tremor - it often isn't there until I think about it!!! So much is still not known about the efficasciousness of the patches and I thiink it will be some years before we really nkow. It is alsolicensed in the UK for later stage pd in conjunction with other more conventional treatments. I consider myself fortunate on two fronts; one is it would appear that I have slow progression pd - at least compared with other people's experiences and also I have suffered no side effects from the patches apart from the patchwork quilt effect but the longer I use them the less the marks seem to show up. How about you?
