Yesterday I went to visit my sister, to get there I have to drive about 40 min. I take a freeway and many busy roads, no trouble. I get to her street, no trouble, then I can't figure out which one is her house! I've been going there for many many years. I stopped infront of one house and went up the drive way ( after being parked infront of it for a few minutes) it was her house but I really wasn't sure of that until I saw my sister.

The Dr. told me I would be having cognative issues, but I thought that meant trying to think of the right word or sometimes even getting the first word out of my mouth, I didn't think it would be with recognizing things I have seen many times. Have any of you had this problem?

Doglady,I have temporary loss of memory on something I use or encounter frequently.A classic example: I forget my daughter's phone number often ,and I call her almost daily.I also forget names including my grandkids,got 5,and forget birthdays anniversities etc.I chaulk it up to a senior moment,but I do wonder if pd drugs might be a causative agent.I guess it goes with the territory.When I forget my name,and where I am I'l let someone else worry about it.Wish you the best.
