My father-in-law is in the finals stages of Parkinson's disease. He's on hospice, He's unable to walk , has a urinary catheter, has lost 10 lbs in two weeks and is now 104lbs, he eats and drinks very little, urine output is moderate to minimal, dark orange, thick and smells like sulfur. He has said that he is ready to go to heaven to be with his wife. His blood pressure fluctuates from 110/70 to 56/40, he sleeps most the time, up to 18 hours a day sometimes. In the last 2 days he has had 2 episodes that look like he's having a minor seizure (he stiffens up, shakes and is unresponsive for a minute or so) But when he's not sleeping, or when he comes out of these "episodes", although easily confused, he's pretty much coherent and knows what's going on. I'm just wondering if anyone has any indication how much longer he has to live. Any input would be very much appreciated.
