Ed/Yekkimo,

I see the site is looking for a Moderator. Does that mean you are retiring as Moderator - got the fishing pole packed? If so, good for you. Regardless of whether you are leaving ... thanks for your years of serving as Moderator. You are a wealth of information and always discretely keep the rest of us in line. You have routinely 'been there' for many people. Your committment to helping those of us with Parkinson's is greatly appreciated.

 

If you are leaving as Moderator, THANKS! If you are not leaving, THANKS!

Hi Lizzy, no, yekkimo isn't leaving (as far as anyone knows!).  The adminstrator is looking for moderators in all the forums, I think.  Sometimes it's hard for one moderator to take care of a forum.  He's still here.  :-)

Lizzy,Iwasn't planning on stepping down as moderator;at least not in the near future.I do however think you would make a great moderator for the parkinson site.With someone like you in I could go out to pasture,and let someone else moderate.For now I'm here.Thanks for your vote of confidence.Ed

Whew! Thanks for the explanation, Lanie. Glad to hear Yekkimo is still going to be around.

 

And ... thanks for your vote of confidence, Yekkimo. I will keep your proposition in mind ... however, I barely stay afloat some days - work full-time, have PD support group, very involved with Rock Steady Boxing (check us out at www.rocksteadyboxing.org - a non-profit, non-contact, boxing-based fitness program for people with Parkinson's), family, etc.  Oh yeah ... and I have PD. I think this type of support is important, however, and know it takes man-hours to make it successful. Again, I certainly appreciate all you do, Yekkimo!
