Need movement clinic or specialist in houston for parkinsons

Hello all. My father has Parkinsons and we are looking in the Houston area for a good specialist to help. The great doctor we had in Galveston moved away and the one we found in Houston was very well published but not really interested in my father as a patient. There was no real in depth look at my father's case -- and after driving an hour to get to a specialist -- I would like for my father to receive the best care possible. He is 86 and can walk one week and in a chair or bedridden the next. We are totally confused by the fluctuation in his symptoms and his current neurologist doesn't seem to want to investigate ways to remedy this. Are we being naive and need to just accept this? My sister and I are reading books on PD and haven't found anything on this type of change. Thanks everyone.

We have found 3 movement clinics in Houston: Baylor, Memorial Hermann, and UT-- we are trying to figure out the very best clinic and person to choose. Any names or suggestions are most welcome. Hopefully, there will be comments and suggestions on PlacidWay. My next move is to look each physician up on HealthGrades. Our last neurologist published 5 books and over 200 articles, but couldn't give a flip about my father. He needed to stay in the lab.
