I am hoping someone can help me with a phone suggestion for my mom. She has late stage parkinson's and is in a wonderful nursing home. My father was also in the same facility on the assisted living side but passed away in late June. He would go down to her room and hold his cell phone to her ear so we could talk--I live about 9 hours away. Now that he is gone, I have an aunt that is also at the same facility and she has the cell phone but it's not really working out and I am going weeks without being able to talk to my mom. She has a portable voice amplifier which was working great with the cell phone but I need something else. I was thinking a speakerphone with the pictures on it--there are about 5 of us she likes to talk with. The nursing staff would be happy to push the picture and set her up with the speakerphone on the tray table close to her mouth and I'm thinking she could still use her portable amplifier on her end. She would also have some privacy to talk without someone right there---it's different now that it's not my Dad holding the phone. I was looking at the Future Call Picture Dialer Speakerphone but it doesn't get very good reviews at Amazon. Does anyone have any experience with that phone or any others? She can't hold a phone at all. Thanks so much!!! I really can't go that long without talking to my mom. Laurie
