Gluten-free might be the key, as some wit PD might be affected by wheat, rye, and barley.
I went gluten free 3 months ago.
For these 3 months, extreme improvements in:
----------------------------------------------------
- bowel movements, have become regular, no longer take Metamucil or Restorolax
- gas/bloating
- fatigue
- back to zero or one nap day, from 1, 2, or more
- sudden need to inhale hard, sucking in air (whatever this was)
- muscle aches
- less itchy
- drooling while sleeping stopped
- focus (cloudy thinking much better)
I wish it helped with tremors, etc but the benefits I mentioned are welcome.
Try gluten-free for a week. You'll notice changes immediately, if gluten has been part of the problem.
google the book "Grain Brain" (which led me too trying gluten-free), and also "Wheat Belly"
