Looking for feedback

I have read quite abit about ED successes and failures following prostate surgery but have not seen anything addressing a problem that I am having.

I am still trying to find a solution for the erection situation. Viagra did not work and I recently started using Cialis with some success. I realize that I probably need more healing time for the erections to come back, undoubtedly with some prescribed assistance.

My main concern is the lack of intensity when I do have an orgasm. Sometimes I'm not sure whether I have climaxed of not. Is this something that will get better over time or improve with the return of erections?

I sure would like to hear if anyone has had a similar experience or can offer advice.

I will be at one year in just two weeks.  ED is still my biggest problem.  I had one nerve spared and the doctor was encouraging regarding good recovery.  So far that has not been the case.  I get my best erection with a Caverject shot, but can also have a usable erection with 100mg Viagra and the pump and rings. My biggest disappointment is the quality of orgasm.  It lacks intensity and duration, it just sort of ends. Some men report an orgasm similar to before, that is definitely not my experience.

Someone in an earlier post asked about penis size after surgery.  My erect length is about 1/2 inch less, but the girth (circumference) is greater (bigger around) than before surgery.

Both my nerve bundles are intact. I think we are pretty much in the same situation. Cialis does help somewhat, but still does not give me an erection firm enough for intercourse. I am right with you when it comes to an orgasm. They suck. I have seen comments form others.....and a quote that I remember from someone...."best sex ever". Like you the orgasm just comes up short, and it takes forever to get there. I think for now it's the best we are going to get. Maybe with time our orgasms will get better.

I can say that I started using bimix twice a week. It works. I started with .5 ml which really lasts too long. I have started using .2 - .25ml. Seems about right for me. A rock hard erection for about an hour. My wife has a smile on her face for the next couple of days. I have not really had an orgasm with intercourse....even though I have tried very hard.

I keep telling myself that I really should remember that I had cancer, and don't any longer. The quality of life is certainly a factor right now. I am hoping and praying that things will get better.

hi peddler, welcome to healing well. you will find that this is a great place for information; more so then you get from the Doctors . I have been a member since Oct 2007 when I was diagnosed. What I have gathered is,----lots of the dudes are satisfied with the use of caverjet and somewhat less with vacumn pumps. It is also the consensus of the guys here,--that you take lesser doses of viagra or cialis,--to keep flood flowing to the penis. And some have recommended that you can take the amino acid Arginine for that same purpose,---plus a lot of sexual thoughts from your memory, etc.
