12-31-07 PSA: up to 30

My Oncologist wants to wait until January 28th, (when I have my next test) to determine what we do next?

DES?
A Chemo trial?
Another trial? I did speak to a doc from Yale University but am waiting for the trial description (more details than are at clinicaltrials.gov).

So we anxiously wait

Dear David,
It seems that you are in the closest to the situation that my husband is in--God Bless you and your family. I realize that this is an all consuming thing to deal with, it is never out of your mind. My husband is 54, no symptoms and diagnosed with mets to lymph nodes and bones. You have been staying active, though, and all my husband does is sleep and is still in some pain. He cannot stand long or walk for a long period of time because of stomach pain. I am learning from this website just what questions I have to ask the doctor. Again my husband won't even talk about the situation too much. He was diagnosed in April 2007 with 45 PSA (I don't know what a Gleason score is yet). He had two biopsies, one on his neck and one on his prostate. Once it was determined that it was PCa he began Lupron shots immediately (every 3 months) and Casodex. Just last month he started Zemeta. I am just hoping that pain goes away because with that we have no reason to even discuss the sexual part of it.
