I've purchased some of the really inexpensive fake viagra from alldaychemist.com. 100mg.     I used to take 50 mg of real viagra recreationally and really noticed the side affects. So, after surgery, I have been taking the ADC version called "Manly" (!) which cost $.50 per pill.  It doesn't seem to be doing much. Oh, I can only get a usable erection...well...only sort of. Not a great one...but at least there is something.   I have noticed almost no side affects like the stuffy nose, etc. that I used to.  I have a sneaky feeling this stuff from ADC is simply not enough of the real thing.  Is this cheap stuff simply too cheap?  I see they have more expensive versions. Might they be better? 

I think this might be a case of "If it seems to be too good to be true, it probably is."

Has anyone else noticed this?  or has anyone tried the other levels of ED drugs from ADC?

I've used the .50 pill from ADC for about a year now and always had good results. Compared to domestic prices, its just too good a deal to pass up.

You're shortly out of surgery. The "average" postoperative gent does not recover over night. Typically, functional results using oral meds takes between 6-12 months. Ya gotta let those centimeters of nerves heal...at about a centimeter a month by the way. Understand that since you used PDE5 meds prior to surgery, it may take every bit of a year to begin seeing "good" results. Best results could take up to 2 or more years. Don't measure today's response to what you had before surgery. Sounds like you are right on the average healing pathway...which is very promising :>)

Just a last wee comment....Side effects are not a measurement of whether a med is bad, good or better than any other brand unless the effects are such that a drug is intollerable. Then it's definately bad.

I can echo what both Jim and Swimom said. I have been taking an ADC equivalent - Caverta -for several months. Very good results -- longer lasting than Viagra (12+ hours) and minimal side effects (I do get the stuffy nose). Having said that, Swimom is correct. After getting virtually no help from Viagra after two months post-surgery, I called my dr in a panic. He advised that for most patients it takes at least 3 months before the drug is effective, and then progress will be slow but steady. That has been my experience. At 9 months post-op, I get what I'd describe as an "almost" full erection with 100 mgs. Not perfect (still no spontaneous erection, i.e., without the pill), but better and better. With your age and stats, I'd say you have an excellent chance of a good ED recovery.

I'm 5 1/2 months post surgery and been using the generic Viagra from alldaychemist since day 10, with absolutely no results to show.  However, it takes time to heal and reconnect nerves, as others has said, and using the generic is to be considered a rehabilitation medication until such time as the nerves repair and you start getting results from the pills.  The purpose of the generic is to keep allowing the continuing blood vessel conditioning (use it or lose it), so when the nerves do start working, you will not have an atropied penis and blood vessel system that can't respond now that the nerves are working again.  Just consider it as rehab and preventative medicine for now.  When you will regain function with erections is anyones guess, but keep working at it until it comes.  If you haven't already got one, I suggest you look at a penis pump to help in further infusing the blood vessels and compartments in the penis with blood. 

I did get the flushing and such with the 100mg dose but none with the 50mg one.
