My prayers are with Biker and family. Another difficult time for them, hopefully they will have good news following bronch and biopsy. As my wristband states "LIVESTRONG", we have all gotten good at that, and serves me as a constant reminder that I am indeed lucky.

Shhhh, ML might not want anyone to know (she didn't say I couldn't talk) but, she's been sick with pneumonia symptoms for about 2 weeks now. Since she's on the mend now, it's okay to blab! Good wishes all around!

Awwww,  thanks so much Swim and everbody for the good wishes and support.

The bronchoscopy went well, I'm still just a little high from the meds.  Don't remember a thing about the procedure.

The pulmonologist talked to MaryLu after and told her that he found no cancer outside of the mass in my lung.  Also the PET scan I had a few days ago was completely clean.  He also said he would recommend surgery to get rid of all of it.  We will see him on Tuesday when the biopsy results are in and the cancer is typed.

Can you believe it?  I might have dodged the bullet a second time...

That sounds like good news!! You are not only a good looking lady's man, sounds like you may be the luckiest unlucky guy here!! If its all contained, they can get rid of it all in one shot, just like the old prostate!!!

Stay upbeat brother Jim, I just know you'll beat this one too!

Great News Biker, hopefully it is a solitary tumor, esp is your PET scan was clear. Depending on cell type, that can be removed with good prospects. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you !!!

This sounds like wonderful news if that can be said for getting diagnosed again but hopefully just a little slice and dice and they have it out with no spreading with it anywhere else. Good luck with Tuesday's appointment and you will be in thoughts and prayers.

Biker: Best of luck to you from Deanna Lee and husband who had prostate cancer last year. When I was young, we never heard of prostate cancer. It's lucky for the ones who did not have it spread. My husband was lucky that his was confined to the prostate. Again, prayers, good thoughts, and be well!
