Today as my treatment was finishing up an alarm goes off.  I felt I had a gas bubble moving through me and wondered if that was what the alarm was about (lol).  At first they came in and  told me no problem just a test but then I was told to leave the building as it was an actual fire.  Here I am in a skimy hospital gown that barely covers my hinney.  In my hurry to get into the gowning room and get dressed I ripped another place on my arm.  This time it is on my left arm just below the elbow.  I was probably the past patient out of the building, as I walked out the sidewalk was full of those who were waiting for treatment.  I guess some will be delayed a while.  The fire department was there as we left and we do not know what actually happened.  I will find out tomorrow at 5:40 unless I get a call sooner.

I will have to say Richard that is a classic. Who says cancer treatment can't have some drama and humor.
I hope the treatments go well my friend. Please know I think of you often.

Yikes.
I suppose I'm off topic by saying you have to be careful near open flames with a gas bubble.

Tony you are toooooooooo!!!! funny. You made me chuckle.

So Richard, How many more times do you think they will delay your treatment. I think at this point I will tell the Dr.s lets get a move on its time to get this thing under control.

Sorry about the fire alarm, Richard.  Glad you were able to have a sense of the humor about it. Hope all goes well today.

One of my fears, believe it or not, was that an earthquake would happen (I live in the Pacific NW which is earthquake country) during my surgery.

Yes, Tony can be a funny man at times. tongue Just want everyone to know it was after my daily treatment was finished so big deal and I have not heard from them so I guess today will be a go.  Storms in the area as I type.  Hope this does not delay this afternoon treatment.
