Well it has been almost 4 months since DX'ed. Jerr has decided he did not want to go though major surgey having the Lymp Nodes removed he feels if he did not have an infection after the biobsy and the nodes had not come down alittle after the 2nd scan he would have proceeded with it, but he is willing to take the 88 percent chance that it has not spread. The Doctor said he will monitor him every three months with PSA'a and Pelvic scans.

So tomorrow morning we go for the 3D mapping of the Prostate to get Ready for 5 weeks of Radiation followed by HDR. Monday June 30 is our first treatment day.

Life sure has been a Journey.

I am not far ahead of you. I go today for radiation treatment 20. Been on ADT for almost 2 months.

There are many here who will give you support and love if you accept it. Please stay with us and keep up updated.

Getting started with treatments can be seen as a victory because you are finally on the road to healing. My radiation was not an easy battle, but I knew the end result would be good and it was. Now i just take my lupron and casodex and live life to the fullest. Please keep us posted as to how things are progressing, We do care.

I thank all of you for your support. Today has been a little emotional for me as I waited for Jerr while they did the CT Mapping. I was so suprrised as to how many people were at the cancer center I guess life gets so busy we dont realize what people are going though around us. It really makes you take a hard look at your life and what we have done with it. I am for the most part a very loving a patient
person but now I will try to be better at that and live life to the fullest since we never know what to expect. Thank you all again for your great post and encouragment during these difficult times.
