Has anyone had any success taking low doses of trimix and augmenting with a VED? I would think it would work well, but I've stayed away from injections since my second priapism episode.

Moderator JamesC is probably taking a nap right now or injecting himself, but....I believe he does something along the lines of which you speak.

 

Biker90 does not use a VED but achieves the same goal prior to injecting a smaller dose of trimix than he did without pre-stimulation.

 

Re. your priapism, what dose of trimix are you using?  Which formula...there are many different "strengths" of it.

 

p.s. - I read on Dr. Catalona's site that one should NOT inject and THEN use a VED immediately thereafter...can cause bleeding issues...but I believe JamesC does it in the reverse order...VED, then injection.  Hopefully he will fill you in soon.

The last suggestion makes sense. Thanks for the heads up about the possibility of bleeding. I have an aversion to penile disasters.

Yes, that's how I do it, I use the VED to preplump or engorgre the penis some, to make for a larger target for the needle.  I don't use the VED after injecting, as it is counterindicated by most doctors and specialists for the reason given in his quote.

It's been a while since my last comment, and I still haven't tried the trimix/VED combo. Frankly, your "bleeding" remark freaked me out, since I sure didn't want to risk any more damage down there.

But last night, while I was trimming myself, I nicked the boy slightly. I was thinking how easily the VED could turn the tiny cut into a gusher, when I was reminded me of the remark you passed along last month.

Perspective is everything, eh?

Tonight, I'm going for the combo--but I'll let the pinhole close before I start pumping.

I haven't used trimix but do use bimix, having a string of failures in my early experiments. After that happened, I used the VED, with constriction (ring), for probably about five times. I needed constriction with the VED -- essential.  No surface bleeding, and as far as I could detect no evidence of internal bleeding -- such as unusual swelling at the injection site. Having since heard Dr Catalona's advice, I won't be making a habit of injecting, then pumping.

The fact that you have had priapism is a good sign. To me it indicates that there is probably some lower dose that will still work but that won't cause priapism. I think you are very wise to start with a dose that should be too low, and increase in stages from there.

Psychologically, it was a great success. Had to rely on those cursed rings, but thank god for the VED! No bleeding at all, BTW. Pumped a bit, injected, fooled around, then pumped and banded. Quicker, more robust results, it seemed. I want to eliminate the VED, and I feel I'm on the right track. Patience is the key, as they say.

Started reading your story. I like the way you write. Made me laugh out loud--cuz I get it, I suppose.
