Good article, Nemo. My urologist gave me a pre-biopsy prediction of a 10% chance I had cancer. Go figure...

Great Article, didnt mention the numbers after the surgery of the repeated PSA's and what they do or dont indicate.....Thats a story within itself as well...

Noticed while reading the article it had related articles below...

Utilization and Outcomes of Minimally Invasive Radical Prostatectomy

I just read this one and sounded alarming having had the Robotic Surgery.

Conclusion: Men undergoing MIRP versus open radical prostatectomy have lowerrisk for perioperative complications and shorter lengths ofstay, but are at higher risk for salvage therapy and anastomoticstrictures. However, risk for these unfavorable outcomes decreaseswith increasing MIRP surgical volume.
