I've been using Trimix for 3 mos. My Trimix formulation is 10:0.5:26.5 and I've been drawing up .325 per injection. It has worked well except for 2 times when I wasn't firm enough for proper performance. I'm trying to find the lowest dose because I don't want to visit the ER. The only problem is the stinging sensation for several hours afterwards. At first, I was so excited about
returning to action that I put up with the pain. However, I'll tired of putting up with the sting and am going to switch to Bimix. The compounding pharmacist said that they could put lidocaine in the Trimix to cut down on the pain but I figured that's pushing it with irritation from both PG and the lidocaine.
I called my physician today and he wrote me an Rx for Bimix #1. I'm anxious to give it a try. Has anyone gone through this switch and what was your experience? I'll probably start out with .4 dosage and adjust from there. After reviewing comments on this forum, it seems like the Trimix and Bimix dosages are close.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and am thankful for an understanding wife.
