People have been posting that they are mixing ed drugs in a 24 hour period in a desperate attempt to achieve that perfect erection. Keep in mind that these drugs affect the blood pressure and if you plan to try this you should Google "Viagra and blood pressure or whatever drug you plan to use. These drugs are also supposed to be taken only once a day. "Expert advice "is abundant on the forums but ......watch out for yourself. Many strange things are suggested which are crazy ideas. Following is a little section I cut and pasted from a site I Googled about Viagra and blood pressure.

Sildenafil dilates vessels to increase the blood flow to the penis, while the blood pressure medications dilate certain vessels to lower the blood pressure. Thus, the question arises as to whether it is safe to combine these two different medications (sildenafil and the various anti-hypertensives). Since they both independently dilate the blood vessels, it is conceivable that together they could lower the blood pressure too much.

Yes, that's the reason why there are warnings about it for certain types of high blood pressure and heart patients and why we all should only be doing this at a doctors recommendation and under their care.

In my case, I take 20mg Enalapril nightly along with 50mg of generic viagra and 2000mg l-Arginine with no change in bp. Each person and case is different, so all need to make sure they are following docs recommendation and with monitoring.

Rest assured that it was my surgeon who told me to use two drugs in combination. Thanks for your warnings though. Good to take a moment to think.

In Paul's other post on this subject I wrote that after taking both drugs together my eyes turned red. What I had failed to mention is that I take two high blood pressure pills, Lisinipril & Verapamil. I was probably really stupid in trying the Viagra~Cialis combo w/o talking to my Doc 1st!!! I suggest anyone who is taking any BP meds to check w/ your Doc before taking any chances or you may endd up looking like a vampire or even worse!

Be very careful with mixing ed drugs, this is very dangerous because as said before they increase blood circulation and if you take to many it can cause heart attack, be careful...

I too agree with you. we should be very careful with mixing Ed drugs as it can be dangerous for our health . Therefore it is essential to keep a time gap of 24 hours between every pill.

I was working at Pfizer (30 years!) and retired just after having my PC surgery. So, you should not take ED drugs more frequent than 24 hours nor you should mix ED drugs with the aim of improving performance. Taking Viagra together with BP drugs is ok but it is wise to talk to your physician and get his approval prior to taking the drug.
