The book that I always suggest to people on hormone therapy, "Beating Prostate Cancer: Hormonal Therapy & Diet" by Dr Myers has a lot of information on nutrition and supplements. It worth reading if you havn't already done so.
Dr Myers, who is a nutrition expert has also published his book "Eating Your Way to Better Health" which has more details on diet.
Specifically in relation to meat consumption that you mentioned, he mentiones that arachidonic acid which can promote the spread of PC is found in red meat, dairy fat and egg yolks.
There is considerable research being done into the theory that methods of cooking meat at high heat, creates cancer causing substances. This suggests that it's better to cook slower at lower heat rather than char grill or methods that burn. This applies not only to any red meat, but any meat, chicken, turkey and fish.
