My heart goes out to you all! ~ Happy Holidays!

I've known about living with cancer for two years officially.  I still continue the fight but I am not alone!  As I was getting my calls out to the volunteers I have rounded up for the next couple days, it occurred to me that this stupid disease is responsible for the good fortune of meeting some of the best people I have ever met.  It started right here at HealingWell after my bone scan in December 2006.  The blessings for me are many, I have had great doctors, nurses, staff, and most importantly I have had the support of the members here.  You new guys and gals will feel the same way eventually, if you don't already.  I remember coming here, scared and believing i had received a bum deal at an early age.  Well I know now that I am a very lucky man.  Even as I fight advanced prostate cancer, I believe more today than ever ~ I can win this!  And if this cancer comes back, I will stick to my beliefs that I can win in other ways.  That stated, I confess that I needed you guys and you were there for me!  In return all I can do is thank you.  My God, thank you all so much! 

 

I am posting an early seasons greeting to you all.  May the season bring you love and peace! 

 

And for those this won't offend, may Faith, Love, and Hope reign in your hearts!

Here's a tip of the glass of Eggnog to you Tony...while we haven't met, your journey shows what a Positive attitude in dealing with cancer can do for the heart, soul and mind. Keep it up!! I know you will follow your signiture line forever.

You have been a constant here. Thank you for all of your work..We all, who come here, have troubles, and problems, and sadness, and yet it is so helpful to read about all of us who are fighting this battle...with ED, incontinence, fistulas, catheters, pads, anger, despair, worry, sadness, hemorroids, bedwetting, pain, viagra, cialis, the shot, worry some more, ...This is prostate cancer...I don't think anyone who has not gone through it themselves or a wife, can possibly understand the frustration and despair and anger that is involved...We have a special place here to talk about what we are going through. I am a wife, but I post for my husband. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, A Happy Hanukka, and whatever else you may desire! We are all here, and that is the important thing. Every moment is enormous, and it is all we have... Our life is a path of learning to wake up. Diane

Hi Tony,

You are tops, and seriously right side up in all the work you are doing for prostate cancer. Whenever we are tempted to forget, we get reminded of the fragility of life and appreciation for what we have. Thanks for everything you have done for us (mate!).
