I've been looking at some older posts and wonder where some of you guys are. Were you cured and decided, "I'm outta here!" I really hope so. There were a lot of names I didn't recognize and hadn't seen any recent postings. Swimmom,Bless your heart, has been here since the beginning and I don't think we can thank you and Tony and Jim and Dale and everyone else for all you've taught us. Thank you.
Sept.21st I lost my good friend to a heart attack. Sept. 28th I lost my Mom to kidney failure and a host of other problems. We buried her on Wednesday of the following week and on Friday we got a call from N. Mexico that my wife's brother was found dead.
This is not a pity party on my part. I have no illusions about my mortality. I'm glad to be around for my wife, kids and grandchildren, and plan on fighting this doggone thing that has me so preoccupied that I tend to lose focus on the more complicated things. But that's okay. Like someone told me a long time ago, "No one gets out of here alive. "
Surgery in Jan., and we'll go from there. My wife is with me throughout this and has been quite informed and supportive. She's a good girl.
If some of you earlier posters read this , let everyone know how you're doing.
Thanks,
Bob
