Phoenix Da Vinci surgeon?

I was recently dx'd with PC and am considering DaVinci surgery with Dr. Al Borhan among my options.  Has anyone had this procedure by him and can comment on their experience with him?  Also the names of any other DaVinci MDs in the Phoenix area would be helpful.

I am in the Phoenix area and had the da Vinci surgery on Oct.31,'08.  I went with Dr. Brien Patel from Casa Grande, with surgery at Banner Dessert.  I'm so well pleased with Dr. Patel, my surgery, healing and results so far.  If you need to talk, e-mail and we can get together.  This is an excellant forum to gather information and support.

Hi PHx Don't have anything to add, but actually have a question. Your signature indicated 50 cores? Which means you had a saturation biopsy. My question is was this the first biopsy or did you have a previous biospy that was negative....hence the saturated one. I am seeing more and more saturated biopsy guys now and obviously better than the standard 6 or 12 done by most uros. Not really that important but interesting. Also do you know the percentage found?

LVTX - that was my 1st biopsy.  My uro said it was his normal procedure to take that many samples - gave a better overall picture.  The percentages were:  Left Base Gleason 3+3=6, 20mm, 30% of tissue, 5 of 6 fragments; Left Mid Gleason 3+4=7, 6mm, 8% of tissue, 2 of 6 fragments; Rt Apex Gleason 3+3=6, .5mm, 1% of tissue, 1 of 8 fragments.
