Height Matters? How tall are you?

and two really short guys lol. I am the shortest guy here. Nothing new about that. You tall guys need to realize that how tall you are changes depending on the length of the knots on your head from smacking it on stuff.

My good friend here in Vegas is taller than his prostate cancer surviving father who was 5'2". His surdery for prostate cancer was 28 years ago. I believe if the word cured can be used, there you go.

David it is 50/50. I can count in the posts an equal number of sizes. I even said 5'9 might be average, but read from 5' 9" to 6 feet is very common in the US. So remove those and there is a slight count higher in the tall. At this point I don't see it that tall means anything more than slightly more common in prostate cancer cases.

Note to tall people.  You do realize that if it weren't for us short guys you wouldn't be tall.

Under 6 feet (and very happy not to be six feet under!).

All my life I was 5'11 3/4" so of course I told everybody I was six feet tall. A few years ago I was stunned to get measured at the doctor's office at something like 5'10 1/2". Ever since then I have been hitting something below 5'11". Yeah, I know your disks compress and people "shrink," but still, somewhat disappointing.

Of course, the fact that I put in over 20,000 recorded running miles by the time I was 21 might have had something to do with it...

And when my running days were over, I HAD some game on the court - until my knees, then my shoulder, and finally my prostate blew out. Basketball is a very demanding game.

Some days I feel like I'm 105.

Used to be 5'10'...now down to 5'9".  Told my wife it's because the weight of the world is on my shoulders.  Looking like Mel Gibson has its drawbacks, also.  SO many autographs...so little time.

Perhaps next, we should list shoe sizes compared to height compared to hat sizes, that would shake up the PC world (just kidding)

just a silly thought from one of the "wee" men here. just remember, when you are closer to the ground (in height) you are closer to the truth. yeah, that's right.

Me personally...I know more short men who developed PCa than tall men. Only thing I've noticed in t his area are the number of men diagnosed who also bear a tummy regardless of height; Paul included. We know estradiol and high fuctose corn syrup play a role. Just an observation.

PS: The big guy has lost 20 pounds and kept it off...6' and and about 218 today.

5' 11-3/4" my unca (uncle) is about 6' 4"
