Great news Tony...I know that road to recovery for you has been a long and hard path to go. But it looks like you are beginning to travel down the last phase and hopefully never to visit this road again. Cheers to you and your continued success. Getting off the HT will be the biggest break for you in the next several months. Makes that light at the end of the tunnel that much closer now.

I updated my post with more information on my PSA history. I also want to clarify why my treatment path is not the same as many other patients that had the surgery/HT/RT regemin. My treatment options after surgery were all done adjuvantly. Meaning there was no PSA rise after surgery, Once I achieved an undetectable, I decided to stay on the offensive. I went with the odds that it would rise eventually because of the surgical results being highly unfavorable and the probability of mets was and is real. I don't yet know how that will impact long term survival as it is just now being studied. If there were any mets they will show up after the last shot I just took wears off. As you know hormone therapy does not cure prostate cancer but it does suppress it quite well and can leave it dormant for years. So we have avoided any rise likely because of HT. This is the protocol I was referring to in the post above.
