I was recently prescribed a Cunningham Clamp to help with incontinence. While not exactly "comfortable", it isn't bad and it seems to work very well at stopping the leaking. Of course, after I bought one at the local supply house, I found the exact same thing on Vitality for exactly 1/2 price. I also saw something else that claims to do the same thing, only better: Squeezer Kilp (http://www.squeezerklip.com/).

Does anyone have any experience with the Squeezer? Is it worth twice the price, or should I just trim out a slot in the foam at the top of my Cunningham?

I am not familiar with a cunningham. I went to the local med supply store and bought a Bard for $45. I knew it was inflated in price, but I didn't care. I cannot stand wet and squishy pants. The day i put the clamp on, my mental state went from very low to a good level. Life looked much better. Maybe it was the harsh toilet training I had as a child.

The Bard can be adjusted by bending the metal so that it doesn't clamp as hard. I wish I could say Willie was too big for it, but all guys with RP would kniow I was a liar. I just adjusted it until it was just enough to stop leaking during normal activity. A cough or sneeze or yelling at the dog will still cause a squirt or 2, but much more managable than the constant drippping and leaking.

Meanwhile, I am continuing my Kegal training. Night time is pretty well under control, I can make it from the bed to the bathroom without too much leaking. In the evening I remove it and work on walking and control. I can see definite progress in 4 weeks, but during the day, I am not worried about wetting my pants.

Thanks. You have a Cunningham Clamp - made by Bard. My local shop charged $70. Vitality is $35. Ouch.

I've made the aforementioned mods, but if you look at that Squeezer widget its claim to fame is the way it doesn't cut off blood flow. It seems that I could cut a section of foam out of the top of the Cunningham to achieve nearly the same effect...

Probably a fine line between not cutting off any blood flow, and cutting off urine. I found that by bending the upper arm into more of an arc, I accomplished the same thing as trimming the foam.

I only put mine on the first position, unless I know I am going to be straining, which I then click to the second position, and it works fine, and Willy hasn't fallen off yet from lack of blood.

Incidentally, I also found that by moving it to the base of the penis during fooling around, I can acheive a limp E, and allow for enough to get an O. Hopefully when I meet with the doctor tomorrow, he will prescribe a pump and rings, and I won't have to use Mr. Cunningham anymore !

No experience with the cunningham clamp or the squeezer but I have used a clamp called Dribble Stop and one called Uro Mend.  They both are somewhat comfortable and they both work for about an hour but then urine builds up and they hurt a little so I'm off to the Bathroom.  Don't see how you can keep those things on for more than an hour.  They are good for social

situations and they give you a little confidence.

Isn't the whole idea of incontinence training to be able to build up your ability to hold urine for more than an hour? I am hoping this Kegel training gets me to the point where I was pre-RP, or at least close. 3 to 4 hours would be great, particularly at night.
