Friends,
After reading the responses to my inquiry last week, I pumped up the tires did 30 miles today. I am 12 weeks post surgery, 10 post-catheter. I felt great when I donned the spandex and jersey as I lost some weight through the early chapters of the PCa experience. I had no problems that I can tell although I was careful to make sure that I was seated properly with sit bones on the flair of the saddle. I did not feel any sensitivity to rough roads and of course would stand on the pedals over real bumps (as usual). I must say that I have been waiting for this day for what seems like forever. I did not use a pad either and no leaks and no spurts. It was like being as kid again when winter was over and my dad would bring the bikes out of the cellar! Another milestone in this journey. Next chapter: ED and the rest of my life.
