I don’t have any question or important things to report, but I simply report my present state for the guidance of others.

As you can see from my sig, I have been dry at night from about week ten. Now at week 14 my wife decided that it was time for a trip to NYC. Leave house at 7a.m. Chinatown bus to NYC at 9:00. 11:00, Walk and bus until lunch then Metropolitan Museum until 4:30. Downtown bus, dinner, theater, 10:00 bus, arrive home at 12:30. Bathroom trips, about 6 (about the same number that my wife made but twice what I would have done before prostectomy.) One pad all day, less than 50% full when I got home.

Is life different? --- Yes Is life good? --- Yes

What a great day trip, I am jealous. And to do all that on a single pad too, you are getting there for sure.

Way to not go Geezer. I also am flyctuating between 1 and 2 pads. If I can sit or ride a lot, and csn find a place to potty more frequently than I need , 1 pad is sufficent. Still more leaky at night when I am tired, but as you say, it's great to see progress.

Can't wait to brag about my erections ! Don't hold your breath.

I am going for trimiz this week.

You give me hope --- not just of being dry, but getting back to the Big Apple. Wheeeee!

I'm three weeks into a prostate free life and considering investing all my retirement money in pad makers. With the way I've been churning through them every day I figure just my business will propell the industry to new highs! But, I don't complain. I can get through the night on one pad. If I'm up and out shopping I like to change every 90 minutes. I could probably double that, and still be okay, but I'm not sure at one point a pad gives up, and I don't want to find out in a shopping center. If I am out going for a walk I probably leak half what I do in a shopping center. If I'm sitting down one pad would do me for several hours.

Again, like Geezer, I report the above not because it's important, (except to me, that is) but simply for others to benchmark a bit.

Well done, Geezer! That's a very encouraging post to those of us facing the same problems. I look forward to being able to spend a day out and about in London!
