What type of pump do you use and Why

That's the Vacurect they are suggesting. I have one, also. It is open the same way the other one is, just smooth plastic opening around 2 inch diameter. There is nothing different from theirs as to the other, AS FAR AS opening and comfort is concerned, in my opinion. The difference is the Vacurect uses plastic discs in the place of rings. The disc is placed on the open end of the pump. The penis must be inserted into the opening of the disc and then vacuumed into the cylinder-IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE A DISC TO HOLD THE ERECTION. Caps for emphasis, sorry. When comparing the two when not using a ring or disc application, both are open to the extent that the penis must go inside, and they both must be pressed onto the body when using them without the intent of applying rings or discs. The salesman is a little off the mark, because when you draw the penis into the disc, the whole pump will naturally move back and seat on the abdomen. Yes, it doesn't draw in much, but depending on the size disc used, it can still draw in other 'tissue' lol Without the disc, the same discomfort that others experience with hair and abdomen/scrotal items being drawn into the pump sleve is the same. I found that having to use the disc each time when pumping for therepy really complicated the whole process, and that if I used the open end without the disc, then it was easier to pump using the battery operated other model. Unless you are intending to use the disc, then the Vacurect is comparable to any other VED. Their difference is the disc rather than the ring and the manner or motion that you must use to vacuum the penis. The other item is there's much less need for large amounts of lubrication with the others, even when using a ring than when using the disc system. You really got to put a lot on to comfortable draw the penis in and then later to remove the disc. The Vacurect is manually used, with a pumping motion of the sleeve, simulating the motion used in musterbation. It's your decision, of course. Personally, I switched to the regular model and method becasue of the complexity of using the Vacurect, but that is just my opinion and experience.

I have heard enough guys on this forum who don't like the pump for intercourse purposes, you could probably get one given to you if you don't mind using a used pump.

I have an Erectaid manual pump, with silicone rings, but it doen't work for me for inetrcourse. I have pumped it until my penis is tight inside the tube, and about as long as I think I ever was, but when I slip the ring over and pull the tube off, it still isn't as stiff as I need it to be.

I am foing for injection traiming tomorrow, I have heard enough good things on this forum to sell me,

I did order from the web site Vitality Med today I did go with teh upgrade to the Augusta medical elite custom Plus battery aided . It is so hard to know what oneto buy I have always been a sucker for upgrades I guess that is why I drive a maxima instead of an altima. And of course I think I will get an altima next time so who knows? So Tonight I went to Walmart and got some new Depends some condoms and I am counting down the days until the Pump arrives. Funny I was a little embarrassed buying the condoms . I have gotten used to buying Diapers though. I guess it is one step at a time.

I asked the same questions here. James C gave me a link for an Encore unit. I bought an Encore Revive system which is manual and battery powered. I live outside the US and couldn't get the same recommended model delivered here...at least not quickly and not from the same source.

I have used it about a dozen times. It has not yet given me a useable erection. However, I believe it has given me excellent therapy.

I was starting to seriously shrink in flaccid size. I have achieved success all times I've used it in terms of enlargement and more importantly, blood flow. My normal state is getting larger and I'm feeling "movement" I haven't felt since before surgery. For me, this device works.

It took some getting used to but, not difficult at all. Crew cut haircut in the underwear department helps with sealing the device as does the lubricants that are included.

My normal state has gone from almost non-existent (turtle?) to almost pre-surgery. My erect state needs some more work and patience and perserverance I'm sure will work for me.

Personally, I'm a believer in these devices.

Pontiac -- it's good to hear from you old timers. It's interesting to know that coming up 3 years post surgery, you are still seeing improvement in the erection department.
