It has gone really well. Other than getting tired sooner than usual (maybe just a perception issue), I have experienced none of the other side-effects that others have mentioned. Guess I have been blessed.
I will get a High Dose Rate Brachytherapy treatment on Monday, November 30th and another on December 7th (what a date).
They did several tests last week, ekg, chest xrays, blood work to screen for the HDRB. One of the things on the blood work was PSA. They said that PSA's at this point were basically of no importance but mine came in at 14.4 (pre-treatment 13.0). I will accept that it probably doesn't mean anything but it still felt like I had been kicked in the nuts!
I beat colon cancer five years ago and would like to add my prostate to the trophy cabinet.
Hope y'all all had a good day and a better one tomorrow.
