Had BT performed yesterday morning a 7:30 AM. Procedure lasted one hour. I ended up with 84 seeds of Palladium 103. I woke up in recovery at 10 AM and was discharged to go home (without a catheter) a little after noon. I have experiened nothing so far that I was not told to expext by the urologist and/or radiologist. The only surprise so far has been a raw throat caused by the breathing tube used by the anesthesiologist. By tomorrow, I plan to be back on my normal routine which includes walking.
In 2 months, I will begin 25 sessions of IGRT. In the meantime, I will post anything that I experience that is unusual or unexpected from the BT.
I want to again thank all the members who post on this forum for their advice, counsel and opinions, irregardless of the treatment option each of you may have chosen. It all helped me sort through a stressful time and finally make a decision with which I am very comfortable.
