Does anybody have any experience with the Augusta Medical vacuum pump for ED? I've used the Osbon Erectaid for some time now but it's cumbersome etc. I'm thinking this Augusta Medical may be the thing.

Are you asking about the 3-Tube VED? If so, I have one that is battery powered and would recommend it.

The 3-Tube one is used by a lot of men with Peyronies Disease as there has been a 26 week protocol developed for use with it. It seems to bring length and girth back quicker than some other pumps.

Steve, that does look the same as the one on ebay at $89.00. It is the OTC variety.

I've got the Augusta Response II with the built in hand pump lever. It is high quality and certainly inflates what hadn't been inflated. It comes with a set of rings and things that look like they would just fit a mouse pen*s. I did not have the nerve to try them. I just let it inflate and deflate to get the blood flowing. It does not come with a gauge. (And you know how we engineers like gauges.) I had been using it religiously for a month and actually went up from the smallest size ring to the next one up. The problem is no matter how good it looks in the tube, the second you hit the release button it disappears into a pile of dust. Kind of like the "sadiM touch" (Midas touch in reverse).
It is ready to go while in the tube, but unless you are willing to choke it off, you can't use it while in there. A cruel joke indeed.

If you go to the Franktalk site there are many discussions about different models.
Maybe you can pick one up on ebay. (Eeeeww)

Thanks Jeff, I did find the Augusta Pump new on ebay for $89.00 and it arrived this past Saturday. I tried it out on Sunday and it worked really good. Even though the set of rings look small, they expand to fit nicely on the end of the tube. They don't really hurt when slid onto the penis and they are what keeps the blood from flowing out, hence your erection will set put for awhile. I would encourage you to try them and see for yourself.

$89 is a great deal for that unit1 I'm glad it's working for you.
You have inspired me to try the largest ring just to see how it works. Wednesday, I will be getting my first Trimix injection. I hope it will reduce the need for the pump.
I'll let you know how the rings (and the injection) work for me.

Hey Axeman.

Now, you know me. I mean no offense, and with all due respect, but ... Are you crazy?!?!

I just used the pump and with your encouragement, tried the "Z" size silicone ring for the first time. I waited until I had good inflation and then tried to slide it over the black rubber ring. It would not slide over it so I deflated, removed the black rubber ring and re-inflated. Very carefully, I began to slide it off the tube and onto ... Whack!!! I'm sorry, but that is just not my idea of a good time.

I'm "sticking"with the trimix. I hope it works.

You need to do more research on pumps - didn't your directions tell you ?-

YOU GOTTA SHAVE DOWN THERE TO USE A PUMP SAFELY!!

Paul is correct, Manscape is the answer. If you don;t do that you are in for a real interesting event trying to yank that ring off. LOL This is the voice of experience, as I did not keep trimmed and got in trouble. Best of luck with your tri-mix.

I used scissors to get the short hairs down to 1/8-1/4 inch. I have not used my 5 bladed, Gillette Fusion on the area. It seems like a disaster waiting to happen. I also did not try Nair but I was tempted. I'm a hairy guy and figured the itching would become unbearable.

With all the chest, back, crotch and butt hair, I am Darwin's prized bit of evidence for evolution. I am so glad I am not in my 20's and need to clean off everything. I'd never get the chance to reproduce.

I'll work on taking them down even shorter. But not until late tomorrow afternoon.

I just looked over the ads and pictures for the Vitality (Plus or Response II) to see how it differs from the Encore pumps.

The main difference is the Vitality has those adjuster rings that fit in at the bottom of the tube -- the Encore does not (although Encore does have two tube sizes -- a Large and a Jumbo -- yeah they never label anything 'Small' in this business).

The Encore has a kind of nifty twist-to-eject sleeve to get the rings off the cylinder and onto the base of the penis -- kind of nice since you can slip two rings onto the tube (just) and have them slip off one-at-a-time when you are ready -- reducing the shock-and-awe a little bit -- plus you don't have to deal with the adjuster rings with Encore -- dunno if that is an issue with Vitality or not?

I've been using the Encore for about 10 months now very successfully with only a slight glitch once when I think some astroglide might have gotten in the pump mechanism and was hampering the suction at times -- a few drops of rubbing alcohol dribbled thru has cleaned it up and no problem since.

I have mentioned before that any of these pumps probably work best with the OSBON ergonomic rings -- not the ones that come with Encore (can't say for Vitality). Osbon rings are a little pricey but seem to hold up a lot longer than the others.

Yeah .. manscape is a must ...

I did the Nair routine for my pre-op preparation - no ingrown hairs compared to shaving - was into body shaving in my 20's - get the nair stuff with extra aloe and moisturizers - and do a wider area than needed - you and your wife will appreciate it - nuff said -

p.s. the cialis (5mg daily) is doing its stuff - better arousal size - more girth than width - but something to hold onto - and if the leg pain happens - just apply heat (bed buddy heat bag) for about 10 minutes and its gone for the day.

Jeff, what everyone said is correct,,, shave a little bit down there and make sure you put some of that jelly on the end of the tube where the ring goes as well as on the black rubber part. That makes the connection to your body tight.

I love your analogy though,,,, must have been scary as hell.
