Well today we’re off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful wizard of prostate surgery, Dr. J. Chin,who is going to take my cancer away !

Away, away, as in bye, bye !

Surgery at the London University Hospital at ‘high noon’ and I’ll be there for 3 – 4 days.

Debbie & Chantale are staying in London near the hospital so I’ll have great support and I’m ready to be pampered by cute nurses.

 Back on here by Monday with a full review.

The absolute best wishes for you and your family. Go to the light, it is the other side of this and a wonderful place to be. Click your heals 3 times and remember there is no place like home.

Jerry, good luck on your surgery, and may your surgeon have amazingly gifted hands, just click your ruby slippers together and say there's no place like home. Soon you will be on the recovery side, and back among your friends here at HW.

Best of luck - Oz is a pretty good description.  I remember waking up from the anestisia (SP) last Wednesday feeling great with no clue at first where I was or waht had happened.  The most peaceful feeling in a very very long time

Good luck on your surgery. Dr. Chin is a good doc and experienced. We're lucky to have him. You'll be back on your boat in good shape soon.

Welcome to the other side. Now, remember walk, drink water, repeat as often as possible for fast recovery and to get the dregs of the surgery and anaestesia out of your system...

 hi has anyone had those terrible hot flashes after HT Deer Hunter.DX1/15   Surgery  4/06 T2c  NX MX perineual invasion right  lobe  90% left lobe  50% surgical margins postive EPP  1/07 PSA .03 4/07 PSA.067/07 PSA.11saw onc rad.7/09 PSA.55  SR 8/09 40 treaments 75 gm full pelvic radation. Casdax 4 months during rad. PSA mid Nov.09 PSA .05 lets hope it worked.

Good luck with the surgery.  Don't worry about waking up in the land of Oz.  No body will drop a house on you, and the drugs they give you are great.  I remember waking up and thinking, "If I only had a brain."  See you on the other side.

It's going to be a long report and probliby even longer to write it but I hope to get it on here today.. Not feeling great with lots of pain right now.
