I travelled to London Ontario yesterday, nervously awaiting the result of my first post-op PSA test. Dr. Pautler informed me that the PSA was undetectable at 0.04 and that it was exactly what he wanted to see.
I have another PSA scheduled for three months from now and another 6 months after that.
On the incontinence front, he said that the symptoms that I am feeling, increased frequency and smaller amounts of urine may be a glitch and he wants to moniter it in case there is scar tissue at the bladder neck which is restricting flow. If the stream remains strong then all is well and it is a normal progression of healing. He commented that I am about
average for four months post-op and being 99% dry as compared to the rest of his patients.
Whew!
Guess I am in the zero club eh?
Regards,
Bill
