Taking my own advice and doing something spur of the moment.

Heading off to Vancouver with my wife to watch some hockey, figure skating, and Alpine Skiing for a long weekend.

Thanks to my son who is working in ticket distribution and some frequent flyer tickets.

What a beatiful place it is.  Can't wait !

Have a great time up there Goodlife. It is wonderful but I know more of the city than I do of the mountains. Banff is on my list of places to see. Bring us all back a T-shirt.

I saw Banf a coulple of years ago. Wow ! is that beautiful. I'm excited to take the bus to Whistler, where the Alpine skiiing is !

Have a great time in Vancouver. It is a beautiful city and the Olympics will make it even better. That is what I call living the Goodlife.

Hey, great first day. 52 degrees, bright sun.

Saw US gold in Men's Free Skate tonight. Sorry my Canadian friends, but at least we beat the Russian.

Off to Super G tomorrow in the mountains.

I my have to stay for the rest of the olympics. Every event we have been to so far have resulted in medals for the US. Silver and bronze today for Men's Super G. I really think it is my presence.

we've all been loving the figure skating especially...
about Banff: I was there 30 some odd years ago and remember it as something out of a dream, heavenly and sublime.

Has anyone else noticed that Goodlife has not responded to my request for a T-shirt or is that just me? Anyway, stay as long as you need Goodlife, and see if you can help Bode bring back a gold.

I must be un-American or at least un-sports guy, haven't watched even a minute of the Olympics. Most sports I like involve an engine and a key to start it.

Yrs ago, 2006 Karl and I and Jacob were in Toranto, Canada at that time there was excitement because the olympics were coming to Vancouver. Hey Micheal, I bought a couple of tee-shirts.....if Goodlife doesnt bring you one I will dig it out of the closet ( I know it's there still) YOU can have it!
Goodlife, have much fun. We have been watching, it would of helped identify you in the crowd, if you did wear a special Pc awareness jacket :)

Hey guys,

Didn't you see me waving? Went to Germany/Belarus hockey last night. What a fun/great hockey game. I had my "I've got ED" Tshirt on. The one with a dead phallic symbol on it. I'm surprised you didn't see me.

Would love to go to Canada/US this PM, but my ticket bookie hasn't comne through. There are guys walking around with signs offering a $1000 for tickets. Too rich for my blood.

Tshirts are $30, ball caps are $22. E-mail me with orders and credit card numbers.
