greeting all, thought I would ck in with Karl's progress. Well, we are happy with no incontinence, not worth wearing a urinary pad, so Karl tried a thin female pad, but still really no drip happening. Occasional drip when going from sit to stand. He is working the Kegel exercises at home and at work. He is up to 3 mile walks, no problem at all.
Dr. gave him a prescription for Vigara to start, he has 1/2 pill 3 times /week. Erection looks good with med, and some stimulation.
We have lots of hope, things will be returning to almost 100 % soon.
It's interesting how time moves, quickly, although when we started this journey in Sept 08, it felt like forever. It was scary and difficult to think straight. Karl and I look at where we are now, almost 4 weeks out from surgery, and it looks so hopeful. But most of all, Karl constantly repeats how happy he is that he has done something about the cancer, it's over, over....now we move to keeping cancer free. He goes for first PSA test in early May, we pray that too is as promising as everything has gone since the surgery.
I say again, and can not say enough THIS SITE IS WONDERFUL, THE SUPPORT IT OFFERS, THE COMFORT, it can not be repaid. I thank you again.
will continue to ck in and read your posts, will continue to keep you in our prayers.
