2nd Post SRT PSA Blood Drawn

Took her 3 sticks, but blood was drawn for my 2nd post-SRT PSA test.  Myself, uro, and radiation oncologist all on pins and needles hoping for a good read this time.  They said they will have results and I can call Thursday morning.  Nothing more I can do about that.

Today is my wife's and I ,36th Wedding Anniversery.  We plan to go out this evening and celebrate that fact.  Gee, looking back to April 6, 1974 - like a whole different  time and age, almost a different world.  She was barely 18, and I was 21, back from Nam, still believing I would live forever and could do whatever I wanted to do.

The PSA will be whatever it is, regardless of what I think or wish.  So I will keep my mind occupied elsewhere until I get the results.

Soon as I know, I will post the results.  This one will represent approx.  4 1/2 months post radiation.  We will see.

Congratulations on your 36th anniversary and may you have many more to follow. David, good luck on your forthcoming PSA test result. I have a feeling that your luck is about to take a turn for the better.

Congrtats on your anniversary! Good luck with the psa as well. I believe it will be fine. I don't post a lot but I keep up and you, my friend, are a trooper. Have a great day and celebrate.

Looking forward to hearing about a big drop in your psa ... might be this one or as another member relayed it wasn't until the 6 month result did his drop below .1.

Congratulations on the anniversary!   Definitely in my prayers for a significant drop in the post SRT PSA and on the path for a return to the "zero" club...

David, although I am a newcomer and we have never met, I feel like I know you pretty well after reading your posts. I surely hope all goes well with you and hope you can kinda forget this PC stuff and dwell on that 36 year mark.  Best to you folks.

we ate at our fave local Thai place, brought the wifey some good wine to enjoy, and we are back home just chilling on a Tuesday evening. The PSA will be whatever its meant to be. If its good news, can wait till Thursday, and if its bad news, it will still be there then.

I think I said congrats on your wonderful milestone for the anniversary on another thread, but "Congrats Again!"

Also I thinking that those 3 sticks for the blood draw could mean that the third time is the charm!
