The journey continues

 

Here I am able to sit down at the computer and tell the group how fortunate I am to be able to write this.   This is due to the help of my many friends I have made here at healing well who have helped me with advise and comfort on my journey with this disease.  We have finally moved all our stuff back to our old house where we belong.  We visited with our daughter last week in NY and just got off the phone with our son while listening to some real beach music on the radio.  I know there are other people who have not been as fortunate as I am and will keep those people in my thoughts.  So after rambling along, I just wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow, May 29 will be the third anniversary of my open surgery.  There have been lots of struggles and my life has been different after the surgery but I am still in the zero club and feel fortunate to be here. 

So everyone take care of yourself this weekend and thank a Veteran for their service to our country.
