Thanks David. Sure not the way I would want to spend my days dealing with late stage cancer. To his credit, he has never done well at marriage from what I can gather. Having said that I hope he can live out his life in calm and peace and not in "a living hell."

This was the first article that plainly states that his PC is advanced stage, espec. with the use of chemo. Yeah, would hate to have his long history of personal problems with such a critical medical crisis going on at the same time.

It is sad.
When I first read about his disease and that he was suspending his work, the article said he was diagnosed several years before. My intuition then told me that it wasn't good. I am saddened by the confirmation.

I wish him and his family the very best...

I see some of the "trash" papers are already writing him off as a dead man, real compasionate of them. Leave the poor man alone. He's got enough to deal with.

What is a testimony to his independence, and " I did it my way " persona is that it took the the His impending death to get the Star on the walk of fame. He should have had it years ago, that itself tells you a lot about the man. This is especially true when you realize some of the " stars who got it ahead of him, think Ryan Seacrest!!! He is a true original, who will really be missed. Heck who knows, I haven't heard the fat lady sing yet!!!, let,s hope she gets laryngitus and and misses her mark.
