Finshed treatment #1 of 39.  Since I work full time and will be getting my treatment at 1030 each morning and then head back to work, the trick will be to pee out the morning coffee and take in the bottle of water at the right time so my bladder is full for the treatment and I can hold it until the end.  Worked today, hope it will stay that way.  Will do a weekly summary and hopefully not too many side effects.  My scheduled dosage is 70 gys. Squid.

Good going, brother. Glad you finally got the treatments going. Same amount of treatments as I did, slightly less gys. I hope you do well through out it, without any bad issues, especially any future stricture problems. Will be rooting for you all the way to the finish line.

Same number, a little bit less gys than mine (70.2 after DaVinci 10/23/09, G 4+5).
I'm posting a daily update, but there have been no dramatic changes. Today was 28 of 39. The big issue for me is fatigue at present, but that didn't set in for a couple of weeks.
I'm in the home stretch to single digits remaining.
I've had two major accidents, but generally have managed the water so far.

Hope it goes well - I'll be checking in.

Glad you are underway with the RT Squid. Soon it will be just another memory of among many on the PCa journey.

Hi Squid, It is all in the timing and you will get it down to the tee, pardon the pun. I had a little tiredness a few weeks in but not any problems. I work construction and never missed a day because of the IGRT. My numbers went down immediately and finished mine 16+ months ago. I do have to get my psa draw tomorrow for my Drs appointment next week so I am a little bit apprehensive but that is a lot better by now too. Good luck to you and keep us updated.

Hope all goes the same each day.
Interested that you're having 70Gy, but 39 sessions, I'd have thought you'd have had 35. (I get 2gy each day)

Yesterday was 25 of 33 for me and it was the first point at which I decided it was okay to start counting down to the finish as that meant I only have 10 to go.

As for the tiredness, well up till yesterday afternoon I thought I knew what being tired felt like and then yesterday evening: wham! Never felt like it in my life. And I felt bad tempered and frustrated too, probably the first time I've felt frustrated since this whole PCa thing turned up. And then I didn't sleep as well either.
Nonetheless feeling much better this morning. I will keep a careful watch today in case it hits me again.

Good luck Squid. I'm surprised that so far,I'm not having any problems with the radiation. (Touching wood, quickly)

Today will be # 17, so I'll be halfway done. Rode the motorcycle to the place yesterday, over 160 miles, felt GREAT!
