OK, I didn't really mean test free, I do expect to have lots of blood tests following any work and I do plan to be very active in keeping an eye on this thing after surgery. Gleason is 7. Dr is super experienced and comes from Dana Farber & Sloan Kittering. He is a native of the state I live in and wanted to come back and work in a smaller hospital. The hospital itself is know as the best place for cancer and heart work. The doctor is also a board certified urologist and the head of urology in the hospital. I could go on, but you catch my drift. I'm very comfortable with him, he's not comforttable with the robot so...... I'm really pleased to find this forum and will keep a running tab on how things go. On further family research I found our that my grandfather's brothers also all died from this in their late 50's to early 60's.
I am continuing research into radiation therapies but fear a come back when I'm too old to have it out. I don't want to spend my last years on this earth in a nursing home. My goal is to die while working on my antique cars, wrench in hand, covered in grease and oil with a big grin on my face 'cause I finally got that friggen' bolt out
