and sephie, thanks to both you and john. was sorry to hear about the death of the Yankees owner today, Red Sox fanantic or not, his passing will be a loss to the team and the sport.

Thank you guys, one and all. Been working on eating a Boston Cream Pie today. My two sons treated me to dinner tonight, and my youngest son chauffered me about as I still feel edgy driving at the moment. All in all, it's been a good day, and a lot to reflect upon. Even my ex-boss called me up and wants to treat me to lunch downtown as soon as I feel up to it. I may be down, but I am not out. Not by any means.

A somewhat belated Happy Birthday, Dave. I hope the next year goes much better for you than this one.

I celebrated my own birthday just recently, much better than the one last year. As the dark hand of fate would have it it was just a couple of days before my birthday last year that I learned my body had been hiding from me the nasty little secret that is PCa. The crazy thing is that I feel much better and seem to be in better health now than last year at this time. Nothing like the fear of death to frighten one out of their bad habits I guess.

BTW, I tried to contact you via the email but got no response. Would like to get together with you sometime for lunch if you feel up to it.

Well, well, birthday boy. My heartiest congratulations you spring chicken you. Like you David I greatly enjoy this forum. But, alas deadlines and a very tight work schedule on my current windows have and will keep me away over about 2 months. I try to get a bit of time here on Thursday lunchtime (our time of course). I am looking forward to reading of a great improvement during your 59th year of existence. Should catch you on chat today,
