Problem at 5 months?

So, I'm just short of 5 months from surgery, and things have been going as well as can be expected, but I have seen some blood in my urine a few times in the last couple of weeks? It seems to be in the evening, and only a small amount. I mentioned it to my doc's assistant last week, and he never brought it up, and I forgot to ask! I'll put a call in tomorrow.
I also have a hernia that reared it's head over the same time period, but I can't see any connection there.
I know you aren't doctors out there in PC Land, but sometimes someone has had a similar experience, and can shed some light on a problem.

zoot1, well, as you know, the standard answer is to see your uro. The hernia is something that probably won't go away and will need a doctors attention, I bet. Blood in the urine is normal, also, especially light tinged blood, although 5 months is a little too along the road, so I'd ask the uro about it, also. Could be something a little torn, infection or even related to the hernia?

Well, the bleeding never really continued, and I never heard from the doc.
Friday I go in to have the (now double) hernia taken care of. Should be like a teeth cleaning in comparison to RRP!

zoot, good luck on the upcoming hernia op, that doesnt sound like fun either. please let us know how it goes for you.

If you use a pump and pump too hard to get it to that next mark, as I did, some times us guys can't stop our selves, You can cause bleeding by damaging the penile uretha. If not Its definitly time to see Uro. In either case its time to see Uro. IMNSHO, its like licsence plate, figure it out, tee hee, clue, NS is key

Sorry I dropped the ball on this one! The hernia op was obviously a piece of cake in comparison! I was back to work a couple of days later. Really just pain at the incision.
