David you are back!!! yeah yeah yeah There is much rejoicing and a'dancin' in the streets. It is great to read you are through to the other side and now the process to a good recovery has statrted. Sit (or lie) back and relax........you have been under a lot of strain and deserve a break. Many thanks to your lad Josh for letting us know you were safe and sound following the op. They eliminated Limbo so after Purgatory the next stop is Heaven. Hope that's how you feel very soon - just heavenly (on earth, of course). :-)

Due to limited physical energy, let me say: thank you to each and every friend here, I can feel your kindness. Will be a long recovery, perhaps 2-3 months. The main incision is 9" long alone! I feel no pain in my bladder or bladder neck, none. Sleep is my worse problem, only in 2 hours stretches at the time. Many bms, but painful this soon from surgery. do have bm urgency, so wearing pull ups to be safe
