Welcome to HW - sorry you have to be here, and hope the biopsy will come back negative.
As to pain, there are opinions from "none" to "the worst day of my life" represented here.
I had mine done in the morning, with only a local anesthetic (needled into the prostate - no pain pre-meds, but they did give me a few days of antibiotics). I continue to say getting my last crown was much worse, but it was moderately, but briefly, painful. You will certainly feel it. I was joking with the nurse about my private parts being "hung out to dry" in the stirrups. She did say that I was a better than average patient.
Mine was a 12 core, and I was ready for it to be finished. I would not have supported much more.
I got up, cleaned up, and drove myself back to work for a while, but I did crash (more from stress and anxiety of what was happening) late in the afternoon. I was hurting later, and would not have wanted to have to be sitting for any great length of time. A 6:30 meeting might be just a bit optimistic.
I had some mild rectal bleeding for a few days, but nothing significant. Was back at work the next day without any issues.
