I certainly had the urinary urgency symptoms, but they were almost certainly caused by a grossly enlarge prostate, not by the tumor, which was more or less a "bump" on the gland. The urologist seemed to be saying that the prostate was so large it was intruding into the bladder neck area, and that was the cause of the frequent and urgent urination. Still, I rarely had to get up more than once during the night. My worst problem was that when I had to go, I simply couldn't wait. Many times I got unzipped just in time to prevent an accident. As for the other sensations you mention, I did not eperience those, but if they caused you to get your PSA checked, I guess that was a good thing. A tumor large enough to cause those symptoms would probably have to be extremely large, and I'm not sure prostate tumors normally exhibit those dimensions. Someone else may have a better answer.
