Hi Guys and Gals,

Well I have been able to stay away for a while and just enjoy life, but I felt the need to come back for just a minute to wish each and everyone of you a Joyous, Blessed and Wonderful Holiday Season.

Not much new on my front. After my last visit with the dr in September he said he didn't want me to think about PCa until we meet next in January 2011. I have been doing my best to follow his orders.

Lynn and I completed our 6 week trip to the NE that kicked off with the GFMPH in September. We had a wonderful time and saw some really great country. Lynn's dr put her on a new chemo therapy as we started the trip and after 2+ months her numbers started to rise dramatically. So the dr has her on a new regimen. Once a week she has IV drugs and the first week of each 6 week cycle she takes others drugs via pill form. Really raising hell with her systems. Her body does it's best to get rid of the drugs using any escape avenue it can. I am sure you get the picture.

She sends her love to you folks and together we want each of you to know what valuable friends and companions you have been throughout my journey.

It is great to hear from you. I can practically hear your voice as I read the update.

I'm sitting here at the kitchen table, binoculars focused on the woodpile/backstop. With everything covered in a layers of white, members of the order Rodentia who ignore the clearly printed warning sign (thank you very much) are easily seen and relocated to another, higher plane. The frequency of said relocations has been reduced to fewer than two per month. Maybe the sign you gave us is effective.

We wish you both well and still smile when we think of your visit.

Hopefully we will see you in April

My dear brother, so good to hear from you. Think of you and Lynn often. Glad you two are holding your own, I know this has to be hell on Lynn's end. May you and your family have the best of holidays. Just like you, my delayed PSA reading will just have to wait till the end of February.

Sonny, I couldn't have a nicer Christmas gift today than to find this thread and get an update on your doings, and Lynn's.

I'm sorry to hear that Lynn's body and the chemo are at odds. I've still got you both on my prayer list.

Seeing as you're going everywhere in your motor home, except to visit me, I'm thinking I may have to come and visit you. Of course, the fact you live in Florida, and I'm up here in blustery cold frozen Winnipeg has nothing to do with the sudden winter urge to play snow bird.

Sonny,

So nice of you to be able to pop in. 'Sounds like you and Lynn has some nice memories of your trip, seeing many sites. I hope those good times together continue to give you strength in overcoming health challenges.
