You are correct Gimpy. According to the list of bladder irritants, carbonated beverages, caffiene and aspertame are not good. A diet coke has all three. I seem to tolerate the carbonation and caffiene better that the aspertame.
*Also citric acid which is in a lot of soft drinks is not helpful.
