I asked about
bikes, answer- it won't hurt anything, however, sitting on a bike seat, the cuff may (will) deflate. Then you will be leaking again. I have experienced this a few times just sitting on the wrong type of chair. And about
chairs, my doc sugested that if you are in doubt about
if you have accidentially deflated the cuff, then before you get up, roll up on one butt cheek for a minute or so before you get up so that the cuff can reinflate a some. I hope you like your AUS as much as I like mine. It feels so natural to walk around without pads or leg bags that sometimes i forget and try to pee without
opening the cuff. That is not very comfortable to do. I am hoping my bladder will get used to having some urine in it so that I can increase my capacity so i can go longer but that may be difficult without the bladder outlet sphincter that we lost. Well, your big "activation" will take something like 2-3 seconds and you might ask your doc. is it done? like I did. There ought to be some sort of fan fare but it is over before your pants get to your knees. Then I walked around for 30 min or so wondering is it really working? It was and yours will too! I am excited for you, myself having been activated just three weeks ago. Please report how it went! I say good luck but I think luck is out of the picture at this point, you won't need it.
