First PSA result after seeds

Good morning all -

Just got my first PSA report, 3 months after seed implant:

0.5

Sounds good to me; it was 4.8 just before the seed implant.

4.8 to 0.5 seems to be quite a drop. I *think* this is good news!

I've emailed my radiologist for his interpretation.

Anyway, I sure hope today's 0.5 is as good as it seems, and that it remains low. I know there can be a bounce a year or so later, but going from 4.8 "pre", to 0.5 "3 months post", seems to be really good news.

Any thoughts from you experienced guys?

Sounds great, Tom.  I don't know much about seed treatment, so I'll just happily agree with Tudpock (Jim).  Congratulations!

Certainly good news! It is good to hear in my case because I am a month out from geting seeds and won't know anything about outcome for awhile.

My husband had his Brachytherapy 9 days after yours and he got his 3 month results this week too. His PSA was a lot higher than yours pre-implant at 11 so his 3.83 now is a far cry from your 0.5 at the moment – that must have felt great hearing that.
The champagne is on ice for us for this Friday evening. Early days but we’ve decided 3.83 at this stage justifies it.
Go celebrate, that is a wonderful result.
